TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED

Personal Information. When you register to become a member of the Business Communication Network’s websites, which include Business Communication Headline News, Bovee & Thill’s Business Communiation Blog, and Bovee & Thill’s Real-Time Updates websites, you will be asked to provide certain personal information. An internet protocol address (“IP address”) is the unique number that identifies the computer you are using to browse the Internet. The Business Communication Network uses IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the Business Communication Network’s websites, track users’ movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

DISCLOSURE AND USE OF INFORMATION COLLECTED

Information Provided During Registration. The personal information you provide us regarding your name when registering as a member of the Business Communication Network may be publicly available on the Business Communication Network websites.
This means that your name may be accessed and viewed by other members, corporate sponsors, or the general public with access to the Business Communication Network.

Posted Information

The Business Communication Network’s websites allow you to provide information in posts. Any information you voluntarily disclose through this medium is necessarily disclosed to the public.

Aggregate Information Shared with Third Parties

From time to time, we may disclose anonymous information or personal information about individuals who have access to the Business Communication Network website in the form of aggregated statistics to third parties for marketing purposes.

The Linked Websites are not under the control of the Business Communication Network and the Business Communication Network is not responsible for the content of any Linked Website. Use of information collected at Linked Websites is subject to any privacy policies at those websites.

DATA FROM CHILDREN

The Business Communication Network does not collect data from individuals that identify themselves as children under the age of thirteen, and the Business Communication Network is not intended for use by children under the age of thirteen. If the Business Communication Network becomes aware that it has received information from a child under the age of thirteen, we will delete all personally identifiable information concerning that child from our records.

The Business Communication Network Privacy Statement is subject to change at any time. By using the Business Communication Network’s websites after any such announcement, you agree to the terms of the amended Privacy Statement.
